A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Waste bags and waste bins are available throughout the park to help keep the surroundings clean and enjoyable.
The area around Hindeloopen is perfect for long walks with your dog. From the park, you can discover the beautiful Frisian surroundings with walking routes along the water and through nature. The beach at the IJsselmeer is also a wonderful place to enjoy time together. Dogs are welcome here, provided they are kept on a leash.
