Hindeloopen Bicycle Route

The area around Hindeloopen offers beautiful cycling through nature. For example, cycle along the Gronspaed from Nijhuizum to Gaastmeer. Take the “Droech oer de feart” ferry to the other side of De Gons. The Grons is the waterway connecting the Oudegaaster Brekken, the Workum inlet, the Zandmeer, the Grote Gaastmeer, and the Heegermeer. Follow the bike path from Gaastmeer to Workum—or vice versa—to find the ferry.
